Mary Cunningham, MD

Practice: GYN Oncology of Central New York, PC Mary Cunningham, MD, specializes in the comprehensive care of women with gynecologic malignancies, including radical surgery and chemotherapy for patients with cancers of the uterus, ovary, cervix and vulva. She is also an expert in gynecologic surgery for benign disease. Since 2006, she has been using the da Vinci robotic system to perform complex laparoscopic procedures, including radical hysterectomy, lymph node dissection and cancer staging, as well as procedures for ovarian cyst and fibroids. Dr. Cunningham received her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed her research and clinical fellowship training in gynecologic oncology. Dr. Cunningham is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. In addition to being a member of various societies, including the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Society, the Onondaga County Medical Society and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, Dr. Cunningham is also a clinical professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. A native of New Hartford, NY, Dr. Cunningham enjoys skiing, traveling and cooking. |
Douglas Bunn, MD

Practice: GYN Oncology of Central New York, PC Douglas Bunn, MD, has performed more than 200 medical procedures using the da Vinci technology since he first started robotic surgery in December 2006. Dr. Bunn earned his medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his residency training at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Women's Hospital and went on to complete a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology, Dr. Bunn is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American College of Surgeons, the Onondaga County Medical Society and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. A native of California, Dr. Bunn is also an assistant clinical professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. |
Abdul-Ghaffar Musa, MD

He earned his medical degree at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Musa completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Musa is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the National Arab American Medical Association Upstate New York Chapter, the International Gynecological Cancer Society and the European Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. A native of Palestine and an avid traveler, Dr. Musa is also a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. |
